At our terminal in Taulov, more than 1,100 units move through the operation every week. That requires equipment that is reliable, efficient and built for the reality of daily operations.
We have now taken a step forward by introducing six new forklifts, replacing older models with a newer and optimised generation delivered in close collaboration with NC Nielsen.
Better tools for daily operations
The new forklifts bring several improvements compared to the previous generation, including higher lifting and lowering speeds, better manoeuvrability and increased stability across both indoor and outdoor operations.
At the same time, the integrated lithium-ion batteries improve ergonomics, create more legroom and make everyday use more comfortable for our colleagues. Entry and exit have also been improved with safety and working environment in mind.
These are technical upgrades, but their real value is operational. They support smoother workflows, reduce strain and help maintain a high and stable level of performance.
Improving what already works
We have been satisfied with the previous setup, and several of the existing machines have been extended in lifetime.
However, staying competitive requires continuous improvements. This investment is part of making sure we keep developing our operations, even when the baseline is already strong.
