On 1 December 2026, Palle Kamstrup will join LEMAN as our new Group COO Air & Sea. With more than 30 years of international transport and logistics experience, he will lead the continued development and growth of our global Air & Sea business.
The newly established position is part of LEMAN’s Group Executive Management Team and reflects our ambitions to expand our international Sea and Air activities.
Extensive international leadership experience
Palle joins us from Blue Water Shipping, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President for EMEA & APAC, combining regional leadership with global responsibility for Sea, Air, Express & Parcel and Marine & Cruise Logistics.
His earlier responsibilities also included specialist areas such as Government & Defence, Aerospace, Aid & Development and Global Air Charter. Previously, he held senior management positions at Toll Group and DSV Air & Sea.
His background includes international business development, commercial growth, operational improvements and leadership across countries and markets.
“Palle brings extensive experience in developing international logistics businesses and translating commercial ambitions into results. His leadership will be important as we continue expanding our Air & Sea activities and strengthening our global competitiveness,” says René Bach Larsen, Group CEO of LEMAN.
Strengthening global execution
As Group COO Air & Sea, Palle will be responsible for driving our global Air & Sea initiatives, developing competitive products and strengthening commercial and operational performance across our international organisation.
An important part of his responsibilities will be to further coordinate global procurement and capacity management.
By bringing our purchasing activities closer together across countries and making better use of our combined buying power, we aim to strengthen our relationships with carriers and partners, improve competitiveness and ensure reliable capacity as our business grows.
“What attracted me to LEMAN is the opportunity to develop an international business with strong capabilities and clear ambitions. I enjoy creating the structures and processes that allow teams across different markets to work effectively together and turn commercial opportunities into results,” says Palle Kamstrup.
Combining commercial ambition with data-driven leadership
Palle believes that strong commercial performance requires effective processes, reliable data and clear accountability.
He sees technology and data as important tools for improving decision-making, strengthening operations and allowing colleagues to spend more time creating value for customers.
“Good data and efficient processes help us make better decisions and reduce repetitive work. That gives our people more time to focus on customers, build relationships and develop the business. Technology is important, but people will continue to make the difference,” he says.
Palle will primarily be based in Taulov, working closely with colleagues and teams across LEMAN’s international organisation. We look forward to welcoming him on 1 December and continuing the development of our global Air & Sea business.
