Rediscovering Life Through LEMAN’s Sabbatical Program
As the Digital Sales & Pricing Manager at LEMAN’s Miami office, my day-to-day work involves strategizing and optimizing our sales processes. On January 8th, 2024, I began a transformative 2-month sabbatical, eagerly anticipated in the preceding weeks.
The initial phase was spent at home, where I cherished precious moments with my wife, nurturing our bond in familiar surroundings. This time allowed me to reconnect with my personal life and enjoy the simple joys of being at home.
A Journey of Reconnection
My adventure then took flight with a trip to Colombia to reunite with my family. Accompanied by my sister, we embarked on an exhilarating journey across Europe, visiting Austria, France, Spain, the Netherlands, and Germany. Each destination offered unique cultural experiences that enriched my understanding of different parts of the world.
Returning Home and Reflecting
Upon returning to the United States, I spent the final two weeks on introspection and completing long-neglected home projects. This period of rest helped me recharge, foster meaningful connections with friends and family, and gain a deeper sense of self-awareness.
I am profoundly grateful to LEMAN for the sabbatical leave, which has rejuvenated my spirit and enriched my life. This invaluable time off allowed me to return to work with renewed energy and purpose, ready to tackle new challenges with a fresh perspective.
