Change in Group CFO position at LEMAN

Martin Nørgaard, our new Group CFO

LEMAN announces a change in the Group CFO position as Christian Pape has decided to step down from his role. At the same time, Martin Nørgaard will join LEMAN as new Group CFO from 18 May 2026.

Christian Pape has been part of the Group Executive Management Team during a period where LEMAN has continued strengthening its financial foundation and long-term direction.

A structured transition

“It has been an intensive and developing year at LEMAN, and I have truly valued being part of the journey and the progress we have made. We have taken important steps to strengthen the financial foundation and create a clearer direction for the business,” says Christian Pape.

“For me, the decision to step down is first and foremost about wanting to prioritise my time and focus differently for a period and try something else, including working in a slightly different way than the role as Group CFO at LEMAN naturally requires. I am pleased to be able to hand over at a good point in time and will do my utmost to ensure a structured and solid transition,” he adds.

Christian Pape will remain with LEMAN into June to support the handover process and ensure continuity across the finance organisation.

Finance close to the business

Martin Nørgaard joins LEMAN with extensive experience from senior finance and leadership roles within the transport and logistics industry. Most recently, he served as Managing Director for Contract Logistics Denmark at DSV, where he held full P&L responsibility and led a significant business transformation.

“What has always motivated me is the link between finance and the business. Finance is not only about reporting numbers. It is about creating transparency, asking the right questions and building a foundation that allows the business to make better decisions,” says Martin Nørgaard.

Throughout his career, Martin has worked with large-scale transformations, including acquisitions, integrations and organisational changes, combining financial leadership with operational execution and close collaboration across the business.

“LEMAN is a company with strong people and a clear ambition to keep developing. I am looking forward to getting to know the organisation and contributing to the next steps in the journey,” he adds.

A strong match for LEMAN’s next phase

Group CEO René Bach Larsen thanks Christian Pape for his contribution and welcomes Martin Nørgaard to the company.

“I would like to thank Christian for his strong contribution during the past year. He has helped strengthen our financial direction and supported important developments across the business. I also have great respect for the way he has approached this transition and ensured the conditions for a proper handover,” says René Bach Larsen.

“At the same time, I am very pleased to welcome Martin to LEMAN. He brings strong financial and operational experience, international perspective and a leadership style that fits well with where we are heading as a company,” he says.

Martin Nørgaard will officially join LEMAN on 18 May 2026.
