LEMAN and Nomeco HealthCare Logistics are taking another concrete step towards reducing emissions from healthcare logistics in Denmark.
In close collaboration with Nomeco HealthCare Logistics, LEMAN has introduced battery-electric tractor units for deliveries to hospital pharmacies in the Capital Region of Denmark and Region Zealand.
The new setup replaces diesel-powered tractor units on these deliveries, reducing direct emissions from the road transport operation while maintaining the high standards of reliability and quality required when transporting critical healthcare products.
Turning ambitions into practical solutions
The transition is the result of close cooperation between Nomeco HealthCare Logistics and LEMAN, combining strict operational requirements with a shared ambition to reduce the climate impact of transport.
