We are proud to publish our very first sustainability report for 2024, a milestone that marks the start of a journey toward greater environmental responsibility, social impact, and industry-wide change.

Key Highlights from Our 2024 Sustainability Report
Environmental Progress: Reducing Our Footprint
- Eco-Friendly Logistics: LEMAN introduced sustainable transport options across air, sea, and road, helping customers reduce their carbon footprint.
- Reduced Emissions: LEMAN reduced its overall carbon emissions by 5% compared to 2023 by adopting renewable energy and more sustainable transport solutions.
- Renewable Energy Transition: 71.65% of LEMAN’s operational energy now comes from renewable sources, with plans to increase this in the coming years.
Social Sustainability Proudly Driven By People
- Diversity and Inclusion: 23% of top management positions in 2024 were held by women, reflecting our commitment to equal opportunities.
- Strong Female Representation: Women make up 47% of LEMAN’s total 2024 workforce, a number we continue to support through inclusion initiatives and career development programs.
Governance and Responsible Business Practices
- Integrity First: We reported zero corruption cases in 2024, reinforcing our commitment to ethical business practices.
- Preparing for the Future: Despite recent changes in EU regulations, we are proactively aligning with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), prioritising transparency and accountability beyond regulatory requirements.
Laying the Foundation for the Future
Publishing this report is just the beginning. We are committing to continuous improvement, guided by three core pillars:
- Carbon-Conscious Logistics: In 2025, we will submit our Science-Based Targets (SBTi) to align with global climate goals, focusing on emissions reductions, alternative fuels, and optimized logistics networks.
- People-Centric Culture: We will keep investing in employee development, diversity, and fair labor practices across our supply chain.
- Responsible Supply Chains: We are strengthening our procurement processes to ensure suppliers align with our values of quality, respect, and sustainability.
Looking Ahead with Purpose
Out of principle, our sustainability efforts go beyond mere compliance and always aim for impact. In 2025 and beyond, we will continue refining our processes, collecting better data, and expanding and adding to our existing initiatives. This report is a first step, and we invite our customers, partners, and industry peers to join us in making a change in freight forwarding.
