New Road Taxes in Denmark: What You Need to Know

From January 1, 2025, Denmark will implement new road taxes that will impact the transport and logistics industry. LEMAN is prepared to navigate these changes while supporting our customers with transparent solutions and efficient processes.

Road Tax Rates
We have calculated the rates for international transport, which you can find here. These rates are based on factors such as distance, positioning, and chargeable weight. Rates for national transport are still being finalized and will be shared as soon as they are ready.

ETS – EU Emissions Trading System
The EU’s Emissions Trading System (ETS) also enters its next phase on January 1, 2025. The current compliance rate of 40% will increase to 70%, with full implementation at 100% scheduled for January 1, 2026.

Environmental Fee
To address the costs of road taxes, ETS compliance, and investments in sustainability, we are updating our environmental fee. This fee supports LEMAN’s commitment to providing greener logistics solutions while aligning with evolving regulations.

Support for Your Sustainability Goals
We offer free CO₂ reports to help you track emissions from your shipments, optimize your supply chain, and meet your own sustainability targets.
