On September 18, LEMAN’s Group CEO René Bach Larsen spoke at DI Transport’s conference at the Danish Parliament – an event organised together with the governing Social Democratic Party.
The conference brought together policymakers, experts and business leaders to discuss how the transport sector can navigate crises and build resilience for the future.
From crisis lessons to future resilience
René contributed two presentations: first on how LEMAN managed through the COVID-19 pandemic – a real-life stress test that forced supply chains worldwide to rethink capacity, processes and collaboration – and second on how we today keep the wheels turning in a time of geopolitical uncertainty.
“It is a privilege to be invited into our country’s Parliament to share LEMAN’s perspective on issues that matter to society and our customers. It shows that our industry is heard and that our experience is relevant far beyond our own operations,” says René Bach Larsen.
A clear message on robust supply chains
LEMAN’s message at the Danish Parliament was clear: resilience is not a one-off project, but a discipline built on five pillars – intelligent automation, visibility & data, compliance & security, cyber hygiene and, above all, people first.
The conference underlined the importance of close cooperation between the transport sector and decision-makers. By contributing our insights and experience, LEMAN helps shape a more robust and transparent logistics ecosystem – to the benefit of our customers and the societies we serve.
