Typhoon Krathon: Potential Impact on Shipments

Update October 3:
Typhoon Krathon Recovery and Ongoing Delays

Good news – LEMAN Taiwan will resume normal operations tomorrow, Friday, October 4th. However, we are still experiencing some delays at the Kaoshiung Terminals due to damages and disruptions caused by Typhoon Krathon.

We expect terminal operations to be limited until this weekend, with a full return to normal expected by Monday, October 7th.

LEMAN is closely monitoring the situation and working to minimize any further disruptions. We will continue to keep all relevant partners informed as the recovery progresses.

Update October 2:
Typhoon Krathon Slows, Extending Disruptions to Freight Schedules

Typhoon Krathon is moving slower than expected, and the Taiwan authorities have announced that all schools and businesses – excluding essential emergency services – will remain closed tomorrow, Thursday, October 3rd.

As a result, we anticipate ongoing delays in both air and ocean freight schedules. LEMAN is closely monitoring the situation from our Taipei office and working proactively to minimize any disruptions. We will continue to keep all relevant partners informed as the situation develops.
